Photo Moment. Alfa Jazz Festival

The festival has not only brought the world’s best jazz artists together; it hasl plunged the city into the spirit of European-level music performance during an incredible summer weekend. A huge jazz-wave havel swept over the old town, covering its highest roofs with excitement and euphoria. New traditions have risen: Lviv has overflown with groovy jazz that has become a trademark of the city. From now on Europe will open its summer fests under Lviv blue sky with Alfa Jazz.

The performances given by world stars of jazz, talented Ukrainian and foreign jazz bands became the main musical event of the festival. Alfa Jazz Fest'11 headliners were:

Spyro Gyra, John Scofield Jazz Quartet, Bill Evans Soulgrass, Wynton Marsalis & Igor Butman Quartet, Jeff Lorber Fusion та Ron Carter Golden Striker Trio.
