Philips in collaboration with Kvadrat Soft Cells has developed a light material. It will allow interior designers, architects and professionals in light to create compositions, which previously were only a dream.

Fantastic fabric was created by combining a wide range of materials offered by Kvadrat, and LED technologies used by Philips. Their combination allowed to create light fabric panels that could be produced both in standard and custom sizes, and extremely easy to install. Each panel is created from multi-colored LED modules with a gap of 60 mm they are fixed in the porous acoustic (sound-absorbing) material from Kvadrat. In covering panels with Kvadrat's fabrics a patented technology is used, that allows to retain material in the aluminum frame in constant stretch.

Philips introduced the innovation, having decorated with such panels a restaurant, that is situated at company headquarters in Amsterdam. Among just a glow, fabric panels allow to create dynamic thematic images, which are managed by Philip's content management system that allows to download various images and manipulate them. Due to this, such fabric from Philips and Kvadrat allows to realize any creative idea.
