Sexologists found out where erotic dreams came from
It has been proven long ago that during waking brain works more efficiently, and during sleep all mechanisms slow down, including the olfactory perception.
But as it turned out, the effect of sexual odors remains as strong as in the active brain state, says leading expert Peter Trent.
The research involving 280 women aged from 20 to 32 years have shown that the so-called flavors of love bring vivid erotic dreams.
In the room with the sleeping girl different smells of natural aphrodisiacs were applied for 10 minutes. The same was done when the ladies did not sleep. Then the researchers compared the feelings that women experienced during sleep and being active.
It turned out that there's no much difference. The reaction to spicy amber is accompanied by the same sexual desires.
