Jamala: Smile to everyone!

Director of the video was Ukrainian maestro Max Xenda and the director of photography well known not only in Ukraine Sergiy Mikhal’chuk.

The basis of the video is puppet animation. All decorations were specially designed and created by an art director Vlad Ryzhikov. In video Jamala is traveling all around the world in her car and airplane followed by big multiplication smile which helps her in any situation in making contact with people of different religions and nationalities.

Jamala: “Smile is the shortest way to any person. It doesn’t matter on which language he/she speaks, what’s the color of the skin or what religion he/she professes. I dream about people smiling to each other as often as they can. In the video we gave our best to transmit the atmosphere of joy and happiness. Smile to everyone!”

Song Smile will also be on the Jamala’s debut album whose release is planned for spring 2011. The outstanding Ukrainian international star The Maneken will take care of the album sound producing.
